Reality TV*

Since the reality tv entered our lives, TV addiction and isolation from life started. The worst drawback of this process is, brain-washing. While we’re focusing on watching reality shows, we can not follow the important daily news and we forget the crucial problems about our country. In my opinion, it can be one of the politicians’ politics because they do not want to rise people’s awareness about politics so they canalize the media according to their profits. The reality tv is the best way to anasthasize the society so it is like an opium. The more you become anasthasized, the less you realise the truth.

"AND OF CLAY ARE WE CREATED" by Isabel Allende

The story starts with volcanic eruption that causes landslip. Because of the mudslide lots of people die and a girl called Azucena sticks in the mud. The narrator watches the events on the TV news that described by her lover Carle. He works in the area for three days trying to report the news and rescue Azucena at the same time. During the challenging tough hours he has the opportunity to have a conversation with her which makes him remember about his own miserable childhood. By this event he starts to confront his past.

Nomadic childhood of Isabel Allende

Born in Peru in 1942, young Isabel's nomadic childhood fuelled the flames of her burning imagination. Her father had abandoned the family, her mother had married a travelling diplomat, and Allende was raised in Santiago, mostly by her grandparents.
